NEXT WAVE: TEEN RADIO ACADEMY
AMPLIFYING AMERICA'S YOUTH
June 6 - 10, 2022
10 AM - 1 PM

The Next Wave has arrived . . . will the world catch on?

ARTxFM's NEXT WAVE: TEEN RADIO ACADEMY is a summer learning adventure that provides Louisville area high school students with the skills they need to become professional broadcasters.  At the Academy, student DJs get hands-on experience with the equipment in the ART FM studio and obtain the FCC training required for FM Broadcasting.

This year's Academy will take place June 6 - 10, 2022 from 10AM to 1PM daily.  Students of the Academy will produce a live radio program from the WXOX studios and emerge with tools for broadcasting online from anywhere in the world!

The Next Wave Academy is built by and for High School Students in collaboration with ARTxFM Staff.  Teenagers, 9th Grade and above, are invited to attend this peer-driven community media program.  More information can be found by contacting gm@artxfm.com

Course Instructors:
Sharon Scott, ARTxFM General Manager
Max Selby (15), ARTxFM Next Wave Director
