The ART FM Radio Pioneer Award recognizes individuals who transcend and defy traditional ideas for radio to create new oportunities in broadcasting.  Through her work on behalf of community radio, LPFM, and net neutrality, this year's recipient has a distinguished history of pioneering oportunities in media for diverse - and often unheard - populations at the hightest national level. 

Due to her work on behalf of American voices at the Federal Communications Commission, Mignon Clyburn is the recipient of the 2018 Radio Pioneer Award.
